A search for survival

June 2018

In the cavernous warehouse space of The Printworks, this new music theatre work follows a grieving man’s quest for survival in a devastated world. Desperate to connect one last time with his daughter, he enters a dark cave, triggering a journey into an underworld of spirits. This latest project furthers the successful collaboration between Tansy Davies and librettist Nick Drake following their opera Between Worlds (2015) which won her a British Composers Award. Nick Drake’s poetry collection The Man in the White Suit won the Forward Prize for Best First Collection.
