Steve Reich's Clapping Music App Competition

We're thrilled to announce the winners of our latest competition to find the highest scorers of Steve Reich's Clapping Music App. Contestants tested their rhythmic skills on the app's hardest level to win their place at a special masterclass in Birmingham. Please note that this competition is now closed.

The top eight scorers are invited to join London Sinfonietta Principal Percussionist David Hockings in a Clapping Music masterclass at Symphony Hall Birmingham, UK, on Wednesday 13 February 2019 at 6:15pm. In the event of any of the top eight scorers not being able to attend the next highest scorers will be invited to take part.

Masterclass attendees will receive a pair of complimentary tickets to the London Sinfonietta’s performance of an all-Reich programme at Symphony Hall, Birmingham, Wednesday 13 February 2019, 7:30pm. 


There will also be a Clapping Music public workshop at Symphony Hall Birmingham, on Wednesday 13 February 2019, 6.15pm. It is free to take part, but numbers are limited and tickets must be booked via the Symphony Hall Birmingham box office, please follow this link for booking information.
