London Sinfonietta's second release on Signum features one of the most exciting artistic collaborations of recent years - Thomas Adès' music combines with visuals by Tal Rosner in a spectacular work for piano and orchestra inspired by the Hebrew story of creation. Jonathan Harvey: Bird Concerto with Pianosong
Bird Concerto with Pianosong, recorded live in concert at the Warsaw Autumn Festival 2009, is Jonathan Harvey's sparkling hommage to Messiaen. It is complemented on the first disc in NMC's new London Sinfonietta series by three shorter electroacoustic compositions recorded live at the Sonic Explorations festival in 2010.

Louis Andriessen: Anaïs Nin/De Staat
The first recording in the London Sinfonietta's new partnership with Signum features the UK premiere of Louis Andriessen's Anaïs Nin, a monodrama exploring the life of the eponymous diarist, plus a performance of the iconic De Staat. Recorded live in concert on 14 April 2011 at Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall.
