In advance of the Sonic Explorations Festival which takes place on 1-3 October at Kings Place, the London Sinfonietta have released two new Podcasts to help you discover more about electroacoustic music.

In Podcast 2, Jonathan Harvey talks to Sara Mohr-Pietsch about the many different kinds of electroacoustic music which will be performed at the festival, as well as the composers, the ideas and concepts behind the music and IRCAM, the iconic music centre in Paris.

Podcast 3 features Robert Worby, who talks us through a short history of electroacoustic music, from the beginnings of music concrète in the late 1940s and 1950s to the present day.
