These songs from Bertolt Brecht's satirical play about the rise of Hitler are scored for voice and a chamber ensemble of alto saxophone, trumpet, two synthesizers and drumk kit. They date from Dominic Muldowney's time as music director of the National Theatre (in London), where they were premiered on 8 August 1991.
