Meet the Team
As Chief Executive, Andrew is responsible for the overall direction of the London Sinfonietta, and curates its artistic programme in collaboration with composers, artists and venue and festival partners. He has worked for the London Symphony Orchestra, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Blackheath Halls.
Craig oversees the day to day running of the London Sinfonietta and works with the Chief Executive on strategy and budgets. He also leads the staff team, managing HR and ensuring strategic objectives are met. Craig has over 15 years of experience in Classical Music covering operational, strategic and governance roles with Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Royal Northern Sinfonia & Sage Gateshead, Brinkburn Music and RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra.
Head of Finance
Elizabeth currently works part-time as Head of Finance, overseeing all aspects of the organisation’s finances and accounts. She studied music to postgraduate level, with a special interest in contemporary music, before moving into arts administration (working previously as Head of Administration & Finance and then General Manager for the London Sinfonietta). She is in the final stages of completing an accounting qualification.
Lindsay manages strategic projects across the London Sinfonietta. She has more than 15 years of experience in orchestral management, and is a specialist in education/participation project development and production.
Concerts and Projects Manager
Natalie is responsible for the delivery and production of our events, and coordinates the London Sinfonietta events team which includes Concert Manager Hal Hutchison, Librarian and Fixer Lesley Wynne, Sound Intermedia and Lighting Designer Tony Simpson. Natalie began working with the London Sinfonietta as a placement student from the University of Surrey in 2008, before returning to the organisation in 2012 having worked with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Participation & Learning Officer
Sean coordinates the Participation & Learning programmes, including schools concerts, workshops, and the London Sinfonietta Academy. He studied English Literature at the University of Edinburgh, but spent most of that time making music. Sean is passionate about improving opportunities for young people to experience and be engaged with the arts, particularly music. He has worked for the Voices Foundation, and in fundraising for several charities. Sean sings, plays guitar and a bit of cello.
Rosanna oversees all the London Sinfonietta’s marketing and communications activity. She has an in-depth knowledge of arts marketing with a background in live music and theatre, having previously worked for the Barbican, Tricycle Theatre and The Yard. Rosanna is particularly interested in audience development, digital marketing strategies and creating innovative content.
With a background in music, Niamh received her Masters in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy from Goldsmiths College in 2015. She has worked across various aspects of events administration with the London Chamber Orchestra, London Contemporary Orchestra, Amnesty International and St John’s Smith Square. Niamh is enjoying developing her skills in marketing, and supplying the office with Irish tea.
Administration & Recordings Officer
Adam assists with the running of the office and all general administration, as well as assisting Andrew and coordinating the ensemble's CD and download recording projects. He has an extensive knowledge of the ensemble's back catalogue and is passionate about the development of new music as well as cross discipline artistic projects.
Trusts, Foundations & Corporate Partnerships Assistant
Vicky assists the Development department with fundraising applications to trusts and foundations, as well as managing corporate relationships. She has a background in hospitality and customer service, and recently graduated from the University of Liverpool where she founded and managed the university’s Chamber Orchestra.
Individual Giving Assistant
Sam assists the Development department, looking after the London Sinfonietta Pioneers scheme and other fundraising initiatives. He recently completed a Masters in Musicology at the University of Manchester, focussing on questions of public participation and collaboration in contemporary popular music. He is delighted to be working with such an enthusiastic group of supporters.
