Matthew Bourne and the London Sinfonietta new collaboration for Written/Unwritten (world premiere)

The London Sinfonietta and creative pianist Matthew Bourne present an evening of written and unwritten music. The world premiere of a new collaboration from London Sinfonietta and Bourne will take centre stage as composed and improvised music collide.

The event will feature a set of solo improvisations from Matthew Bourne based on the soundworlds featured in the concert, from Helmut Lachenmann through to Kaikhosru Sorabji and Salvatore Sciarrino. The London Sinfonietta’s virtuoso musicians will also showcase their skills with performances of works by Xenakis and Berio.
