Postcards from Europe is given over to the work of contemporary composers from across Europe, and the results of London Sinfonietta’s partnership with the European Union’s Re:New Project. In this event, London Sinfonietta will perform two very attractive and exciting pieces by French composer Régis Campo and the Finnish composer Osmo Tapio Räihälä in the presence of the composers. The programme also includes some of the set of Sinfonietta Shorts - solos and duets written as 'musical birthday cards' for the London Sinfonietta in 2008.
