The world premiere of Dai Fujikura’s piece K’s Ocean and music by João Pedro Oliveira, Ake Parmerud and David Fennessy.
Beyond by João Pedro Oliveira stretches the possibilities of conventional instruments beyond their normal limits. The ‘tape’ part is a fourth instrument incorporating sounds based on the other instruments.
Dai Fujikura’s K’s Ocean is the result of the composer’s work on the London Sinfonietta’s Blue Touch Paper Scheme.
