Dai Fujikura secret forest (UK premiere)
"Packed full of good things ... the London Sinfonietta is over 40 now, and there's nothing like a bit of youthful excess and generosity to keep middle age at bay"
Ivan Hewitt The Telegraph
The London Sinfonietta Collective curated its first full-scale event at Queen Elizabeth Hall on 3 June 2010. The LS Collective is a group of young London-based artists exploring the contexts in which contemporary music is experienced, and this event included:
NEW Music from rising and established composers in a programme of 20th and 21st Century works, including a world premiere by Larry Goves and a UK premiere by Dai Fujikura
NEW Dance, live and on screen, before, after, and during the intervals of the main concert
NEW Film and Interactive design generated by the variety of sounds and movements in and outside of the concert hall
A NEW approach to the concert experience which made SHADOWORKS a uniquely borderless event.
