Claude Debussy Sonata for Flute, Viola and Harp
The first of the London Sinfonietta's four short concerts at the Kings Place Festival is made up of two gently meditative pieces for flute, viola and harp by Debussy and Takemitsu - two pieces which, despite being separated by over 75 years, share the same otherworldy beauty.
Broadcaster and presenter Sara Mohr-Pietsch introduces each 45-minute London Sinfonietta concert at the festival, giving audiences an extra insight into the music being performed.
