London Sinfonietta and special guests perform the UK premiere of The Adventures of Greggery Peccary as part of Frank Zappa at the Roundhouse.

The London Sinfonietta promise a special evening featuring the first ever UK performance of one of Zappa's epic and most popular classical pieces, The Adventures of Greggery Peccary, with performers including Tim Dickenson as Greggery and Mitch Benn as the Narrator, Billy the Mountain and Quentin Robert de Nameland.

Alongside this, the London Sinfonietta play Zappa's Revised Music For Low Budget Orchestra and pieces by two giants of 20th century classical music who inspired his own compositions: Pierre Boulez (Memoriale) and Edgar Varèse (Octandre).

Celebrating one of the 20th century's most remarkable musicians and composers, Frank Zappa at the Roundhouse features a kaleidoscopic exploration of his music and influences. Performances by Dweezil Zappa, members of Frank's touring and recording bands, the UK's best contemporary classical ensembles and an appearance by Gail Zappa are accompanied by talks, films and exhibitions.

Frank Zappa at the Roundhouse has been made possible by the generosity and collaboration of Gail Zappa and The Zappa Family Trust, and offers a tribute to his amazing music and continuing legacy... 'anything any time any place for no reason at all.'
