Dominic Muldowney Songs from ‘The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui’

The Art of News opens with an evening where music, words and politics flow together, including some new arrangements by Dominic Muldowney. Songs and words by Weill, Eisler and Brecht feature alongside spoken word and acted monologues that together place the political messages in the lyrics and music within the context of the time they were written.

Followed by Poetry Platform 1 at 9.30pm.
