WRITING THE FUTURE

Writing the Future, our new scheme for emerging composers, pairs composers with musicians from the London Sinfonietta. Composers write a Sinfonietta Short (a solo or duet work) for their player and then a chamber composition. New pieces are performed, recorded and streamed on the internet for a global audience. Through this scheme we want to develop relationships with a group of composers we have not worked with before. Click here for more info.

KX COLLECTIVE

The KX Collective is a dynamic group of young people from the King’s Cross area who have an enthusiasm for exploring and creating new music. They work closely with our players and associate artists to create their own new works in a series of music-making workshops and events each year.Click here for more info.
