One of Britain’s most versatile and promising young singers, Elizabeth performs in a wide range of concert and opera repertoire. She studied at Trinity College Cambridge before entering the RSAMD, learning with Patricia MacMahon. Her numerous prizes include the 2001 Maggie Teyte Prize and the 2003 Handel Singing Competition.

As a WNO Company Principal for two years and recipient of the WNO Sir John Moores Award and WNO Chris Ball Bursary, roles included Pamina Zauberflöte, Countess Figaro, Elvira Giovanni, Thibault Don Carlos, Minerva Ritorno d’Ulisse and Micaela Carmen. She has also performed among others Ilia Idomeneo (COG), Helena in Midsummer Night’s Dream (ETO), Melissa Amadigi (Batignano Festival) and Pamina (Grange Park).

Elizabeth is equally well known as a concert artist, performing all over Britain under conductors such as Mackerras (Philharmonia), Boulez (BBCSO), Pappano (LSO), Hickox (BBCNOW) and Belohlavek (BBCSO). In recital, she has appeared at the Purcell Room, St. David’s Hall Cardiff and Linbury Studio Covent Garden and with Iain Burnside for BBC Radio 3’s Voices, at Wigmore Hall and Leeds Lieder+ Festival.
