Welcome to the London Sinfonietta Music Programme 2011/12: a series of live events curated for you by an ensemble renowned for its iconic new music productions.

* Exquisite Labyrinth: the music of Pierre Boulez, a whole weekend’s immersion into the work of this music legend in the company of the man himself
* Written/Unwritten, at the London Jazz Festival for the second consecutive year we present collaborations pushing the boundaries between new music and improvisation
* In Portrait: Olga Neuwirth, be transported into the cabaret-inspired world of counter-tenor Klaus Nomi whose flamboyant performances made him an 80s cult legend
* Perfect Constructions: the music of Conlon Nancarrow, a journey through the sound world of a musical maverick who exploited the mechanisms of the player piano
* In Portrait: Harrison Birtwistle, be among the first in the UK to hear Birtwistle’s new work, In Broken Images, with a guided tour of his music by Tom Service
